This is a 2 section antique Japanese kimono chest called Kanto Kasane Tansu. It measures 40.75 "tall, 37" wide, 16.5" deep. Made entirely of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki), it has a secret box hidden behind the lower drawer hidden behind the hinged door on the lower right corner of the piece.
The iron fittings were all hand made and original. Its age is from the 1880's to 1890's (mid Meiji era).

This is a 2 section authentic antique Japanese kimono chest called Kasane Tansu that measures 41.75" tall, 33.5" wide, 17.13" deep. It was made entirely of Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood and the metalworks on the drawers are one of the family crest, Fukura Suzume, sparrow inflated sparrow which has auspicious and good luck meanings.
Originally used to store Japanese silk kimonos, it can be used for daily clothes storage as well as being an attractive accent in any home decor.

A nice vintage leather box embossed “Studs” on the top. Most of these boxes are round, but this example is a much more uncommon horseshoe, the lid also embossed with a horseshoe. These boxes were original intended to store shirt studs or cufflinks, but can be used for any variety of gentleman’s accessories.

A very handsome Art Deco champagne and cocktail stirrer set of imposing size. Each stirrer has a torpedo-shaped finial complete with fins. The stirrers would be inserted with finial down for aerating a glass of champagne or with the thin end down for stirring a cocktail. The underside of the base is stamped the hallmark of B. Borhmann, a silverplate manufacturer in Frankfurt Germany until the mid-1920s...
A very uncommon French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a fisherman navigating his boat. A dozen picks, each topped with a red bakelite ball form oars along the sides of the boat. The whole is attached to the original wooden base.

This is an authentic antique Japanese merchant chest called Choba Tansu that measures 67.13" high by 36.25" wide by 15.25" deep. . It was made using Cypress (Hinoki) and Cryptomeria (Suginoki) woods and its age is from the 1880's to 1890's (mid Meiji era).
The Choba Tansu was used by merchants and was traditionally displayed prominently in shops to impress customers. These chests display elaborate metal hardware that is meant to make it look important and catch the eye of the customer...

The age of this tansu is circa 1880's to 1890's from the mid Meiji era. The hardware was entirely hand made and it features the raised tea leaf design on the corners of each drawer.

This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Cha Tansu made of Tamo (Japanese Ash) in the front, Horse Chestnut (Tochinoki) for the case, and Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) for the drawer backs. It measures that 57.75" tall, 34.25" wide, 13.25" deep. Typically used in the guest entertaining room of the house. The shallow dimension of this tansu allows for placement in even the most narrow of hallways or entryways.
A very nice wrought and spring steel garden loveseat in the style of Francois Carre. This is a vintage item but the style is one of the earliest of the Carre designs with a sprung steel back of vertical slats and a sunburst seat with curled wrought iron arms. The bench is 35" high by 37" wide by 26" deep. In very good condition.
