This is a vintage Japanese bronze garden lantern. It has acquired a beautiful patina over its many years of loving display and use. There are three sections comprised of the legs, the base and the combined roof/housing. It measures 32" tall, 22.75" wide, 22.75" deep.
It would make a wonderful addition to any indoor or outdoor garden landscape.
This is an old stone Japanese Yukimi-Doro/Toro or legged lantern comprised of 5 separate sections. Relatively low in height, they were used exclusively in landscaped gardens with the traditional placement being near the water such as a pond or stream. It measures 24" tall, 19.5" wide, 19.5" deep.
Its age is from the late Taisho to early Showa era (1920's). The skilled craftsmanship to produce this lantern is evident in the detailed texture surface that was entirely hand carved.
A superb work by World Renowned pottery Hamada Shoji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Kakeai-yu Henko (Vase with blended glazes). It is 8 inches (20 cm) tall, 6-1/2 x 4 inches (17 x 10 cm) and is in excellent condition.

Nice old persimmon shaped water dropper from Korea with bamboo motif. As I am unfamiliar with Korean ceramics I will date and guarantee this to be “vintage” (pre 1980s) but possibly 19th century. It shows definite signs of wear and normal usage and the white glaze shows a depth that I have seen in Qing and Ming Chinese porcelain. A large flower basket of globular form with round rattan base and broad shoulders, its forked handle secured to the rim with ribbon-like wraps, a v-knot at the apex. Chinese plaque done in Qianjiang style with a crane flying over with a tree in the scene. There is a poem written in black ink in the upper left corner with a seal in iron red below it. The plaque has an overall orange-peel effect on the surface.
Condition is very good, no breaks or cracks. Some minor wear to the enamels
