A Chinese Yixing Jar, Qing Dynasty/Republic. Height approximately 9 cm, width 13.5 cm (across handles). The jar has tiny chips inside the cover. Good condition.
Painted in Qianjiang style with one face with two figures beneath a willow tree. The opposite showing a quail on the ground with flowerheads, the remaining faces with texts. Side relief elephant mask ring handles. Thickly glazed with an orange-peel effect on the outside. Glazed on the inside and base with the base rim left bare. Various seals in red. Dated 1911

A Chinese turquoise glazed vase of flattened form with elephant head side handles covered. The glaze is covered in small crackles and pools at the base. The base left unglazed except for a small section. The base is glazed with the exception of the center where it has been left bare. No markings.
