STICKER BOARD BY A JAPANESE BOY

A fragment of old massive industrial wooden board stenciled as 'Explosive' at the opposite side, randomly stuck many old school stickers of 'Ultraman' and 'Kamen Rider' (and their monster enemies) as the two biggest children's superhero in Japanese tokusatsu TV show in 1970s. Really scarce tangible memory and story hardly seen today. 65 x 37 x 1.5 cm (25.59 x 14.56 x 0.59in)...

It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches with one very tiny, pin point size mark on the outer edge, probably done in the making. This bowl can be hard to find. A nice Art Deco cocktail pick set formed as a dark red bakelite cherry atop a rosewood base holding six bright red bakelite cherry-finial picks. The cocktail pick holder (“porte-piques”) was once a fixture of every French bar or café, as well as private bars in the home. Victorian Classical sterling silver compotes. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Round solid well; sides have pierced leafing scrollwork and turned-down rim applied with cast leafing scrollwork and buds that suggest the influence of Chrysanthemum; raised foot with cast scroll and flower border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 8743 (first produced in 1885), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition with deep patina.
