This is a really nice depression glass green Block Optic 5 1/4 inch diameter cereal bowl made by Hocking Glass from 1929 to 1933. Vintage summer hitoe kimono made of a silk and hemp(asa) weave. It has a beautiful print pattern of orange blossoms and paulowni blossoms in blue/green, yellow, and silver. It would have been worn over the juban, the under robe, which would have been white to bring out the colors of the robe. It measures 61" long 51" wide. Showa period, 1950-1970.

English Copeland Spode porcelain blue Transferware Beaker, 4" high, 3 1/8" diameter-top rim, with farmers and herds of cow in front of Italian style Castle and ruins, and wide foliage border design on top rim inside and outside. Remember, this glass changes color depending on the light source: it is blue under flourescent lighting and lavendar under incandescent lighting and in sunlight.
