Vintage Shelley oleander cup and saucer in pale blue. The inside of the cup has a pale blue border around the rim, and various roses, pansies, and forget-me-nots. It has a gold handle and foot. The saucer is pale blue with a gold rim. It measures about 2.25" high and about 4.25" across. The saucer measures about 5.5" across. There are no chips or cracks and the colors are bright. It is marked Fine Bone China Shelley England. Just a beautiful cup and saucer.
Beautiful vintage Royal Albert cup and saucer in the gorgeous Tranquillity pattern. It has pink roses, blue forget-me-nots with grey accents. The handle is ornate and the saucer and foot of cup has lovely embossed designs. The cup measures 3" high and 3.5" across and the saucer measures 5.5" across. There are no chips or cracks. A bud vase from the Grande Maison (HB Quimper) on the soleil (yellow) ground with hand-painted sprays of flowers. The shape is classical, approximating the loutrophorus of ancient Greece. The vase is in excellent condition with signs of wear around the rim of the base but no damage. Made in France circa 1940 the vase measures 6 inches in height.
A charming chicken-headed egg cup decorated with the Ivoire Corbeille motif. Perhaps chickens with blue feathers on their heads are known in Brittany! In excellent condition with the usual imperfections of hand-painted peasant ware but no damage. The egg cup measures 4-1/2 inches in length, 2-1/2 inches in height and 1-3/4 inches in depth.
Wonderful antique Victorian German childs tea set. The set consists of a teapot and lid, creamer, sugar bowl, 4 teacups and 4 matching saucers, and 2 extra saucers all in a light pink with gold accents. The teapot has a boy and a girl with a rocking horse and stuffed cat. Their outfits and faces are adorable. The same picture is on the bottom of the sugar bowl and on 2 cups and saucers...
