Very rare fabulous vintage Royal Winton chintz teapot in the highly sought after Welbeck pattern dating to the 1930's. There are no chips or cracks and some fading of the gold accents and some discoloration on the inside of the teapot. It measures 4.5" high to the top of the finial and 8" long from end of spout to end of handle. It is marked "Welbeck" Royal Winton Grimwades England. Don't miss out on this fabulous fine!
Ceramic bust designed in 1958 by ceramicist og sculptor Lore Friedrich-Gronau for Karlsruhe Majolika, Germany. Lore Friedrich- Gronau freelanced for Rosenthal from 1939-61, where she was best known for her dancing figures. This woman's head is typically mid century style. Excellent condition. Very nice vintage James Kent chintz breakfast set with purple violets and green leaves. The set consists of the teapot, creamer, sugar, cup, toast rack, and tray. There is overall crazing, some discoloring of the teapot, 2 hairline cracks and discoloring to the cup. There is some fading of the gold accents. It is marked James Kent Longton Made in England. A wonderful set!
Measuring 10 3/4" in diameter, with scalloped edges, gold rims and details, this pair of Spode/Copeland cabinet plates feature a lovely scene from the Lakes Region, with ruins of a castle, an urn with flowering plants, and mountains in the background. They are signed Spode, Copelands China, England, on the back, along with the notation R9560, and several small impressed marks that are difficult to read...
A superbly made teapot of porcelain of squat shape or egg shape and small, square lid decorated with a bright, mottled underglaze red which runs thin at places to reveal the white porcelain underneath. Handle in thin, double copper wire. Signed: Gösta Grähs for Rörstrand. Sweden, from the 60’s. H 9.5 cm (minus handles), L 11.5 cm. A real collectors item! Condition: Excellent.
Modernist vase designed by Edith Sonne Bruun (1910 - 1993) for Saxbo, Denmark. From 1932 Edith Sonne Bruun shared a workshop with ceramicist Chr Poulsen. She joined Saxbo 1938-39 and 1946-61. From 1951 she signed her pieces 'Sonne'. Perfect condition. Signed: Sonne and Saxbo mark (ying yang symbol) Height: 5.7 inches (14.5 cm). Diameter: 3.1 inches (8 cm).
Pair of Compton Pottery Arts and Crafts ‘Pan” bookends. The bookends measures 12cm high. The condition is very good with no damage. Patinated sandstone sculpture made by sculptor and ceramicist Ove Rasmussen(1911-1973) Signed OR on the base. Excellent vintage condition. Height: 13 inches(33 cm) Weight: 3.9 kilos
Ove Rasmussen moved in 1947 to Sverine, where he worked for several companies. He subsequently worked as a freelance for Søholm on the Danish island of Bornholm, where he designed a range of sculptures. In 1961 he opened his own business, Båtabackens Ceramics.

Rare! Vintage Royal Winton chintz 7 piece serving set in the beautiful Kew pattern. The set consists of a platter and 6 plates. The 5" plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the gold rim is bright. The platter measures about 10" by 6" and has no chips, but there is a small crack on the back corner and has some slight discoloration and fading of the gold rim. All pieces are marked "Kew" Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England. A most rare set!

Offered is an early large mid-century modern vase made by Spara Keramik in West Germany in the late 1960’s. The handcrafted vase is from the Schamotte series and made of chamotte clay which was used to add the gritty, rough texture called "tooth". This texture when applied to a simple refined shape results in a unique, elegant and understated “brutalist” piece. The vase is 14" tall, measures about 8 3/4" in diameter at the widest point of the body, and weighs about 10 lbs...
