This pretty, vintage, blue Madrid depression glass oval vegetable or serving bowl was made by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1938. This bowl measures 10 inches long X 6 7/8 inches across. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there is a slight 1/2 inch minor indent at one spot on the inner rim of the bowl that was done in the making. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in the rainbow treatment. The color is ruby flash applied over crystal glass. What makes this plate interesting is that the color is applied only to the outer edge of the plate, leaving the center crystal. This treatment was called 'rainbow' and is difficult to find...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in the green satin finish. (The color is actually more teal blue than green.) This color is very hard to find because it was only made in 1938-9. Excellent condition, I have 4 available...

These fantastic, rare Morgantown wine stems feature delicate, whisper-thin blown Pineapple optic crystal clear bowls.
