This superb rendition of a lovebirds pair resting on a crystal log surely is the work of Archimede Seguso. The colorization of the birds is achieved with fragments of blue and white opal filigrana cane, resulting in a merletto type effect which is largely Archimede Segusos signature technique. The birds' gestures, beaks, wings and tails are similar to birds depicted in Leslie Pinas' book on Archimede Seguso. The two ends of the log are nicely ground convex and polished...

Old Cafe is a smaller pattern produced by Hocking from 1936 to 1938. Offered here is the covered candy jar. The base is pink, the lid for the covered candy jar is always ruby. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1174 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald green. The vase is approximately 4 inches high and in perfect condition. Lovely Rene Lalique molded bowl with a slightly raised and frosted romaine leaf motif and a sterling silver rim. The bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter and is 3 5/8" high. It is marked R. Lalique France in the center interior of the bowl. The condition is excellent. Circa 1920.

A 9 inch tall Wisteria goblet identified as Steuben shape 7182. The unsigned goblet is pictured in the online shape gallery on the Frederick Carder Steuben Club. This goblet has an engraved mark on the edge of the polished pontil that reads “F. D.” The initials are engraved in reverse so that when seen through the foot they read correctly. Per the Carder Steuben Club shape gallery the pattern on the goblet is “unknown.”

This wonderful vintage piece is handmade by Morgantown Glass. The wine bowl is surrounded by medallions of dancing nudes and flaming torches. It sits on the Ballerina stem (#7630) of pulled glass that is attached to the broad, clear foot. This stem stands 6" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. Monumental sommerso decanter by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1950s. In brown glass cased inside a layer of pale yellow. This enormous decanter, standing 22" tall to the top of the stopper, is a showstopper. In excellent condition.

A similar bottle was featured in the 1998 Sotheby's auction "Important 20th Century Glass" with an estimate of $1,800 to $2,400.

Offered is this large-sized (height: 8 inches & width: 3"), iridescent glass shade with applied threads, made by Durand/Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. Unsigned, as expected - it is in a definite Durand shape (please refer to page 146 of Meschi's book - shown in last picture here for your convenience). Good condition (a few threads missing, as might be expected).

Unusual Murano Cased Crystal Clear HIPPO HEAD Art Glass Sculpture + Signature and Label!!!
