Truly a magnificent piece, with the distinctive "Gold Rope" design of Ercole Barovier. The piece is very tall and flared of the sides and pinched in the middle. Fostoria made the Willowmere etching from 1939-71. This duo candlestick pair with the plume center are in mint condition.

Vase stands 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall, and has a "double ruffled" rim. Made by Fenton 1947 to 1952 as model number 189. Unmarked, probably had paper label (Fenton glass was not marked "in mold" until 1953). A fascinating optical effect is caused by the clear glass "dots" that lends interest to this style vase. There is a small burst bubble in the clear casing glass in the lowest row of "dots" that occurred during manufacture. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950.
