This Morgantown Chanticleer novelty or figural stem features a crystal clear rooster. The blown bowl and the foot are a light amethyst, and altogether is quite festive indeed. These Chanticleer stems came in 6 colors and were produced in the 1930s. This one is in excellent, unused condition and stand 5" tall and 3" across the rim. The El Mexicano pattern was designed to look like old, crudely made Mexican Glass. Made by Morgantown Glass in the early 1930's, the molds were later reworked for their crinkle line.
