It is crystal clear and in very good condition, perfect except that it has a wee chip on the rim of the lid that is not apparent when placed in the mouth of the pitcher. A Durand glass, blue iridescent vase, made around 1925 by Vineland Glassworks - the iridescence is similar to Steuben's, 'Aurene' and Tiffany's, 'Favrile'. The vase is 8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide. Polished pontil. It is in fine condition (there is a spurious, 'LCT' at the bottom). Like many Durand glass objects, the vase is unsigned - it is guaranteed to be by Durand in their Shape Number 1730 (please refer to page 160 of Meschi's book for this vase-shape).
