Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.

Origin: probably America, ca. 1935. Condition: untouched patina, a couple of ding nears the bottom edge and another at the shoulder...

A Brass and Tin US Post Office Scale from 1940, labeled "Triner Air Mail Accuracy Scale", by Triner Scale & Mfg, Co Chicago Ill. Dimensions; 9" wide x 4" deep x 5" high. Very good condition.

Rare blue tile and brass footed pitcher of Mayan figure design by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures. Measures 7" high by 5 1/4" diameter and is signed "HANDWROUGHT SALVADOR HECHO EN MEXICO 433". Handwrought brass and tile cup of swimming mermaid by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Design has red, black, brown, and white tiles on a blue tile background of swimming mermaid in the sea. Fascinating watercolor set in the form of a 1930's automobile with working wheels. The top lifts to reveal containers for paints and water; an area for mixing; and a storage compartment for brushes. The back of the car is embossed "Betel Motor Car/Patent No. 75086/Open & Close Type/BF".

Lovely green early enamel coaster signed by Tiffany Furnaces. All enamel is in original perfect condition. Diameter is 4 inches.

While this is Sold, nourish your need to collect antique buttons by clicking: Home at upper right then search: button. As all Art Nouveau even in the button collecting area, that era is thinly represented. Seen in the BBB: 1 1/4" GIBSON GIRL Picture Button with flat back and 2 air vent openings for heated air escape when made. It takes a strong loupe to see very little brass showing through the silver between 11 & 12 O'Clock. Sold, no price, no info please.

Famous, large and very heavy brass and tile hand wrought footed box showing HENS by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1952. Design shows 5 hens heads on top set in black tiles all around the box. The hinged inside is brass as is the bottom. The inside has a black patina which shows it has interacted with another material(see photo) but doesn't affect the integrity of the piece and could be removed. Box measures 8 1/4" long by 6" wide by 2" high...
