A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original. Beautiful craftsmanship...

This American sterling silver baby food pusher is small scale and perfect for a baby's tiny fingers. The handle is monogrammed with an A inside a half wreath pattern, inside base of handle stamped with maker's mark, 925 and STERLING, engraved with the date 1927 on upper part of handle, The pusher is arched with scalloped sides. Measurements-handle 2.50 inches long, the blade measures 1.50 inches across. Condition- Minor surface scratches on blade.

Striking silver pitcher & stirrer designed & signed by San Miguel Allende, Mexico artist Carmen Beckmann circa 1960. The pitcher is 9" tall & 7 1/2" at it's widest. The stirrer is 12" long. The two pieces weigh a hefty 970 grams. The pitcher is studded with 8 faceted, bezel set amethyst stones. It's also decorated with 3 applied sterling star fish. The stirrer in finished with two faceted amethysts on either side of the terminus. Fully signed on the base. Beautiful condition.

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

A fine, colorful boxed set of six sterling silver coffee or demitasse spoons with gilt and guilloche enamel decoration by the Birmingham silversmith, Turner & Simpson. The delicate shades of the guilloche enamel are accented with white champlevé enamel. Turner & Simpson sold sets such as this through luxury jewelers such as Garrard and Asprey in London. Each spoon is fully hallmarked by the maker. The set is presented in its original fitted box.

Applied ethnographic feather like design and a bezel set 7mm amethyst cab. 21 grams and could be higher than sterling. 1 1/8" X 1 3/4". While it has a nice vintage outer patina, the inside is very "white", as if when rec'd it was put away for decades and the inside never saw the light of day...

Stylish and jokey sterling silver cabbage head sauce bowl and ladle. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Domed cover set in bowl, both comprising overlapping leaves with realistic veins and irregularities. Ladle has branch handle and leaf bowl. Clear glass liner. Ladle marked “Buccellati Italy Sterling”. Bowl has post-1967 mark (26 MI) with “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and “925 [in oval]”. This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. The hallmarks are the crown and half moon, 925 STERLING, and a bear. A Pair of Large Gorham Sterling silver Candlesticks in the Style of George II and George III, with Gadroon Rims and Borders and Detachable Bobeches. They are 12 inches in height and weigh 38 ounces each. They are labeled English Reproduction on the base, in addition to the Gorham marks. They are in excellent condition, and date from the 1930's.
