A delightful and very rare French Art Deco silverplate cocktail shaker with enamel recipe decoration by Deschamps Frères of Paris. The enameled decoration depicts a pair of scrolled documents with seals presenting recipes for “Torelli” and “Winter Palace” cocktails. Both are rather unusual variations on a classic martini. Adolphe Torelli was the barman at the famous Winter Palace Hotel in Nice...

This is a sterling plate made by Tiffany which was autographed by the players in the Keaton Golf Klassic in 1974. It is signed in the silver by Art Bell, Hale Irwin, Don Fisterwald, Gene Littler, Lionel Hebert, Dale Douglas, Jim Langley, Charles Coody, and Bob (I couldn't read his last name). It is marked on the back Tiffany & Co., Makers, Sterling Silver, 23336. There are scratches to the silver, but the autographs are all readable. The plate has a diameter of 6".

Midcentury Modern sterling silver picture frame. Rectangular window in wide and flat surround with incised honeycomb pattern on front; edges plain. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back with hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) display. For a big group shot of the whole hive colony. Post-1967 Italian marks with Frataelli Cacchione maker’s stamp. Very good condition. Velvet wear.

Chinese-style bowl, ca 1920. Mottled green hardstone urn on silver gilt fretwork base with 4 splayed supports. A pretty ornament that works as an ashtray with silver gilt leaf cradle mounted to rim. Marked “Edward I Farmer / Sterling”. Very good with nice toning. Rim has a few fleabite irregularities.

Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. Being offered is a superb circa 1945 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought bulbous form originally, specifically designed as a sangria pitcher with three applied floral motifs on the body; flared neck; ribbon handle with ruffle decoration, but of course pitcher can be used for water, iced tea etc. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight is a hefty 38 ozs.

An unusual mid-Century Taxco version of the classis sterling silver thimble jigger. Like most Mexican silver of the era, this piece has tremendous weight and a simple charm. The rim is engraved “Just A Thimbleful 1-1/4”. The bottom bears the hallmark of A. Dominguez and the Eagle stamp used in the late 1950s.

A Sterling Silver Teapot Made in England for James Robinson, Inc., New York. Styled in the Georgian Manner. Interesting top and spout design. Hallmarked, London 1956, with makers mark "EB", for E. Baker & Son. Dimensions; 7" high x 9.25" handle to spout; weight 22 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved "Only A Thimble Full." The interior retains its original gilding. Several companies made variations of this jigger, but those by Thomae are among the best due to their superior weight and workmanship. This particular example is several grams heavier than most Thomae thimbles.

Absolutely beautiful sterling silver cigarette case with a stunning enameled portrait of a black and white borzoi(?) on a blue background. The interior of the case is gold washed and retains the original elastic bands to hold the cigarettes in place. The inside edge of the back is marked “925 STERLING SILVER.” The back of the case is curved inward to fit a pocket. The case measures 3 1/8 inches wide and 3 5/8" tall...

A nice sterling silver double jigger, the bell-shaped cups joined by a spherical holder, by Graff, Washbourne and Dunn. This New York maker was known for the high quality of its smaller wares such as this. The company closed in 1961, but the generous weight of this jigger suggests an earlier date.

A fine engraved Ellis Barker silver plated coffee pot from the 1920s. This top quality English silver plated 9-1/8" engraved and chased coffee pot by Ellis Barker (or Barker Ellis in England)has the original wood handle and it is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND 10 with the Menorah maker's mark (used after 1912). An English sterling silver gravy boat or large milk jug hallmarked for Sheffield 1946. This heavy 6" long (spout to handle) footed pitcher weighs 175.4 grams (6.2 ounces) and it has the JEB maker's mark for James Edward Barry. This is an absolutely stunning sterling silver cigarette case which has been elaborately decorated with engraved raised floral motif on the front and back panel, with presentation mark engraved on the front panel. It has a gilt interior with two cigarette retainer, it is hallmarked with a dagger going through letter B, which I don't know what dose it stand for...
