Outstanding three-piece sterling silver dresser set with guilloche enamel. Both brushes have natural bristles and the jar is panel-cut. All pieces are fully hallmarked for "G. Bros." London and Birmingham, 1928. The markings also indicate the pieces were made for export to America.
Origin: London & Birmingham, England, 1928. Condition: excellent, including the bristles; absolutely no problems with the enamel. Size: hairbrush 9" long; clothesbrush 6-1/4" long; jar 2" diam.
This early 925 sterling silver box with detachable lid was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. The box stands 4 1/2" high and measures 3" x 2 1/2". Pictured on spratlingsilver.com where it's described as a tall cigarette box. It is sometimes referred to as a tea caddy. Beautiful vintage condition.

A pair of Mappin & Webb sterling silver three light candleabra hallmarked Sheffield England 1931. These gorgeous Rococo style table lights stand 9" tall. They have their original detachable bobeches, and both have the Sheffield 1931 hallmarks. This pair is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a 1/2" scrape on one arm on one candle (barely noticeable).

and on the side are Sassanian king Anoosheh Ravan and ancient symbol of archaemennid dynasty. The central figures are surrounded on the upper and
lower section with the script commemorating the crowning of Reza Shah. The cup is dated 1311 AH which is 1931. The height of the cup is 4 1/4"
with 3.5" in diameter...
A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after...
Nostalgic glass vanity jar with enameled sterling silver cover. Made in London in 1934. Oval jar with straight and fluted sides. Cover has motoring scene: A Victorian lady and two gentlemen tootle along in a turn-of-the-century automobile. A sweet look back. Hallmark includes George V’s silver jubilee mark. Indistinct maker’s mark – possibly Thomas Dalton Pannett & Son, Ltd. Fine condition with strong color.

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger, the rim ornately engraved “Only A Thimble Full.” The workmanship is very good and the engraving among the nicest we’ve seen. Marked only “Sterling,” it was likely made by either Thomae or Webster.

On front, in black enamel is a drooping dromedary. On back, the beast is revived, standing tall with head raised. A powerful testimony to the benefits of rehydration.
