German Silver salt & pepper shakers and place card holders. Circa 1890, these pheasants have several hallmarks, among them "800" and "Germany". Fully three-dimensional and detailed all the way around. Both of the heads can be removed to fill with salt and pepper. There is a slit in both of them to place a card. Both of the bases measure 3" long and 2 1/8" wide. One is 3.5" tall and the other is 3" tall. The overall weight of the pair is 160.1 grams.

These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after.
