A very large and heavy sterling silver double jigger with a turned ebony handle by Quaker Silver Co. The cups are decorated with an ornate acanthus leaf and bead design reminiscent of Jensen and other Nordic designers of the early 20th century. The jigger is stamped with Quaker's hallmark.

This very fine and unique Russian silver cigarette resembles the Classic Russian Silver Age design and has a gilt interior that bears the inscription, "Armsale Hennile 23 Ii 1939 b" engraved on the interior lid. Silver plate salver or footed tray, by Walker and Hall, British company making fine silver plate items since 1853. Measures 11 3/4" in diameter, 1 1/2" high, sits on three ornate feet. Border is edged with beading, the surface is engine turned, and center holds name of yacht in block letters. The USS Siren was built in 1929 in Wilmington Delaware, but was not named the Siren until 1940 when it was commissioned into the US Navy as a minesweeper and patrol boat...

Cover hinged and with tapering tab; top flap with engine-turned linear pattern bordered by wraparound lines between wavy lines. Interior wood lined and partitioned. Underside leather lined. Fully marked. Very good condition with a few minor pings.

A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. The back is marked “Sterling” and has the Watson & Newell logo. The spoon is shown as item 562-4 on the Watson and Newell 1900-1910 catalog page illustrating “Souvenirs for the South.”

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

This sterling souvenir spoon depicts the Fort Wayne Court House in the bowl. On the handle it depicts a farmer with an ax chasing a cow which is jumping the fence, The head of cow, Indiana in a ribbon, a stork of corn and berries.

Elaborately engraved Tiffany sterling silver footed lidded jar, acorn and oak leaf finial on lift-off lid, etched decoration of duck and cattails to both sides with overall scrolling leaf and branch decoration, marked on bottom: TIFFANY & CO./STERLING/PORTUGAL, also inscribed in script: Best Wishes/Randi & Dad/Love/June & Dick/30 July 1973 but jar itself could have been manufactured much earlier. Size; Height of this fine item is 7 inches and has a diameter of 5 inches...

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Terrific Gorham silverplate figural shot glass in the form of an early American leather fire bucket. The front side is enameled with the emblem of the Chicago Fire Department surrounded with the words “Little Giant Engine Co. 1871”. The back side is modeled to show the leather handle. The bottom is marked “Gorham EP YC3098 CAP 3oz.” Origin: America, ca. 1955. Condition: excellent, no dings, minute wear to enamel on word "Fire Dept". Size: 2-3/4” tall.

Measuring 5 1/4" across & weighing 156 grams this 940 sterling silver dish was designed by Taxco, Mexico designer Hector Aguilar. The dish is centered with a 1951 coin with a HIDALGO profile. The reverse side of the coin features an eagle fighting a serpent. This candy dish is pictured on p. 67 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. HA, 940, TAXCO, & TALLER BORDA and eagle 9 hallmarks are found on the underside rim of the dish.
