Vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the form of a thimble. The rim is engraved "Just a thimblefull." These first became popular during the late Victorian era and remained so through the mid-20th century. This example is hallmarked by Towle.

This spoon is 5 1/4" long.

The top of the spoon has a building and a shield with birds in the shield, Fort Pitt 1764, and an oil derrick.

The bowl of the spoon is the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Post Office building.

Smart-looking "No. 250 Coldseal" aluminum cocktail shaker by Kraftware, ca. 1946. The shape is very interesting, tapering from a narrow footed base to broader shoulders and a bell-shaped top. Raised rings add to the look. Bottom is marked "Kraftware." 12.5" tall. Nice condition. This shaker looks terrific when highly polished!! A fine, colorful boxed set of six sterling silver coffee or demitasse spoons with gilt and guilloche enamel decoration by the Birmingham silversmith, Turner & Simpson. The delicate shades of the guilloche enamel are accented with white champlevé enamel. Turner & Simpson sold sets such as this through luxury jewelers such as Garrard and Asprey in London. Each spoon is fully hallmarked by the maker. The set is presented in its original fitted box.

Being offered is an exceptional and rare circa 1963 sterling silver box by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Entirely handcrafted rectangular heavy gauge silver lid covering a carved Mexican wood box. Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition.

Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

Rare sterling silver ice tongs in Kirk’s popular “Old Maryland Plain” pattern. This pattern, designed in 1850, is one of the oldest patterns in Baltimore silver. Because it is so simple, it can appear both Colonial or contemporary, and works well with nearly any silver pattern. The tongs are marked with later 20th century Kirk hallmarks.
