A very rare French first standard silver (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin, the bottom bearing the coat of arms of the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. The arms depict St. Vincent, patron saint of winemakers. The body is further decorated with the traditional raised "perles" for highlighting the reflections in the wine and recessed "cupules" and elongated "godrons" intended to concentrate the color during tasting. A handsome mid-century sterling silver gavel-style double jigger with a turned ebony handle. Gavel jiggers are usually in a more traditional style, but the plain lines of the silver and relatively simple handle give this example a nice mid-century modernist feel. The jigger is marked by Boardman, a silversmith who sold under their own mark and also manufactured barware for Cartier's New York store.

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red meant to signify "go," "caution," and "stop." Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2, and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger's bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.

This is a real sweet antique miniature cold painted bronze African American boy and girl group reading the newspaper with a Holland headline. It is circa 1890. The boy and girl are dressed in Dutch costume. It measures 1" tall x 5/8" wide.

Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.

Being offered is an exceptional and rare and early circa 1940-1944 sterling silver tray by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Oversized handwrought tray featuring an applied rope motif on the rim.
