This purse was purchased from a very fine estate sale, and the quality of this Judith Jack purse reflects the sale from which it came. The marquisite (pyrite) is "grade A" mined in South America. The stones are hand set in sterling silver. The design and craftsmanship are superb. The lining repeatedly presents Judith Jack's name. The metal cartouche says "Judith Jack, made in Italy." Purse is 5 1/2" by 4 5/8". 1 1/2" front to back. Beaded chain is 11 1/2" end to end.

This elegant set of 6 napkins of gold and blue woven cotton damask is expertly made with mitered corners and hand drawnwork hemstitching all around., in fact they're so perfect, it's hard to tell the front from the back, except for the hand monogrammed RH which is also of a chinoiserie design.Colored damask has become quite collectible. I've added a photo showing the reverse side. 12" Washed and ironed...ready for your table!

This wonderful matched set is most desirable in that it is a matched set for 6 of extremely fine quality linen damask with wonderful heavy drape. This lovely cloth has shades of olive green and dusty rose in the design, thogh faded with use and age. There are hand repairs to the shabby hem tape ,which you would probably want to replace. One small spot as seen in photo and a few light yellow areas which I don't think detract from this unique cloth. 58" Freshly washed and ironed.

Gorgeous vintage Hermes silk scarf (“carré”) worked in rich shades of medium blue, cream, golds, browns and greys. The design illustrates various 18th century gilded carriage or chariot wheels, including one emblazoned with an image of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The hand-rolled edges (rolled toward the front) are plump. “Hermès Paris” is worked into the design, as is the signature of the desiger, Caty Latham.

Origin: France, ca. 1995...

Mary Had a Little Lamb charmingly depicted in a hooked rug. Mary shown in profile like the Sunbonnet Sue of quilts. Interesting that Mary's lamb is sheared; the legs are a fuzzier wool than the body. Pristine condition; measures 16" x 23". Pennsylvania origin.

What could be more appealing than this Cats crib quilt pattern? Does the fact that there are nine of them relate to the traditional notion of cats having nine lives? Nicely embroidered with details including a collar on each animal. Cable quilting in the border and concentric diamonds throughout interior. Pristine condition. Colors softer that in photos. Measures 35" x 36". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1930.

Here's a wonderful Retro find from the 1940s: FIVE whisper-soft dresses of fine white cotton lawn with pintucking, embroidery and scalloped hems. Each has a different design and the tags tell us they were hand-made in the Philippines. Condition is lovely, despite their being about 60 years old -- nearly antique, by American 75-year standards. Some could use a few stitches along seam lines, but there are no major problems. They could be brightened with bleach and/or bluing, if you like...
