Rare to find such a perfect set of vintage printed napkins! Measuring 15 1/4" X 17 1/2", machine hemmed on all 4 sides, and the linen is drapey but crisp. The color is so vivid, I doubt they've seen much use if any! The background might whiten with laundering,it's creamy colored now, and I haven't done anything to them...just as I discovered them. So delightful for your table!

Traditionally, baskets of flowers or fruit were included in gifts and in designs for a wedding gift, wishing prosperity for the bridal couple. Baskets of flowers, with lace fillings highlight this almost round (68" X 65") cotton tablecloth. The design, pictured over the round cotton damask tablecloth, shows beautifully. All work seems to be professionally worked by hand, and is very good though not fine, the embroidery is precise but not heavily padded...

This pair of soft drapey linen towels is in the very old diamond huck weave with a 4" floral and foliate woven border at each end. They measure 18" X 46" and would be wonderful as table runners also! The beautifully executed, hand embroidered, red monogram is AL or AE or AG,whichever you prefer.I think these lovely Swiss towels are circa 1900.They must have been well taken care of,seem like new only they have the softness that comes with use... wonderful condition.

Here's a glamorous masquerade mask from the days long before you could simply grab a costume at Party City. Certainly one of a kind, most likely made by a lady for her own use, it's gracefully shaped with exotic cat's eye openings and sunray forms above. The front is encrusted with shimmering black sequins, all intact, and the reverse is covered with a soft mesh fabric for comfort...

Bright and cheerful quilt of Pots of Flowers that I believe are meant to be poppies. Unexpected black accents give it a deco feel. It's especially effective next to the clear red of the border and flowers. Unwashed condition; circa 1930. Measures 77" x 102"; Pennsylvania origin.

Incredibly realistic Hooked Rug in the shape of a Cat, seriously guarding her ball. Mounted on board; measures 30" wide and 23" to tip of ears. Repairs to two areas of the green base do not detract from the droll image. Circa 1940; Pennsylvania origin.

This purse was purchased from a very fine estate sale, and the quality of this Judith Jack purse reflects the sale from which it came. The marquisite (pyrite) is "grade A" mined in South America. The stones are hand set in sterling silver. The design and craftsmanship are superb. The lining repeatedly presents Judith Jack's name. The metal cartouche says "Judith Jack, made in Italy." Purse is 5 1/2" by 4 5/8". 1 1/2" front to back. Beaded chain is 11 1/2" end to end.

This elegant set of 6 napkins of gold and blue woven cotton damask is expertly made with mitered corners and hand drawnwork hemstitching all around., in fact they're so perfect, it's hard to tell the front from the back, except for the hand monogrammed RH which is also of a chinoiserie design.Colored damask has become quite collectible. I've added a photo showing the reverse side. 12" Washed and ironed...ready for your table!

This wonderful matched set is most desirable in that it is a matched set for 6 of extremely fine quality linen damask with wonderful heavy drape. Colored damask of this quality is especially harder to find. And it's Round! The napkin pattern has ribbon tied rose bouquets in each corner and the center is full of roses in ribbon and dot frame,(which also frames the edges). The tablecloth has the same center design. The 6 napkins are in excellent condition...

This lovely cloth has shades of olive green and dusty rose in the design, thogh faded with use and age. There are hand repairs to the shabby hem tape ,which you would probably want to replace. One small spot as seen in photo and a few light yellow areas which I don't think detract from this unique cloth. 58" Freshly washed and ironed.
