Intensely colored amethyst glass inkwell finished with a gilt brass collar. The severe cubic form is relieved by canted, curved corners. The base is acid-stamped "Made In Czecho-Slovakia", indicating a date between the World Wars.

A beautiful Murano glass aquarium paperweight, designed probably by Alfredo Barbini around 1960. It is 7 1/4 inches (18,4 cm) wide, 5 1/4 inches (13,4 cm) high and 2 1/4 inches (5,7 cm) deep. It is in fine condition (there are some bottom usage-scratches, as might be expected). It has a faded gold label, 'Made in Italy Murano Venezia' (please see last picture).

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - done in a rare color treatment. The vase is crystal with honey yellow ceramic wash at the top edge. This treatment is often referred to as 'rainbow' due to the bands of color...

Being offered is a circa 1950 sterling silver centerpiece bowl by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico, entirely handwrought lobed bowl with embossed Aztec rose motifs; stylized handles; resting on a pedestal base. Dimensions: 12 1/2 inches x 8 inches x 3 inches. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Great weight 30 ozs.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This 16 piece set is the Small size Stippled Band and includes the teapot and lid, 4 plates, 4 cups & saucers, sugar & creamer. If you don't collect Jadeite, this one might get you started. It is provocative and unique among Jadeite wares, featuring a voluptuous nude female figure on each of the 3 sides of the vase. Good condition with original base punch hole intact. The main defect is 2 parallel small tight cracks about 2 millimeters. There is also some faint discoloration around this condition. This is a massive Yves Saint Laurent galalith bead necklace withgold and enameled deep red metal spacers. It is 21" (54.2cm) long including the chain & hook (but not including the YSL metal tag).
