Superb Murano glass figurines by Alfredo Barbini. A colleague in Venice who is a dealer in Vintage Murano Glass told me he witnessed these figurines being made at the Barbini factory in the 1950's. They are in good condition: the red coated Moor at 10" tall is in pristine condition and the white suited one at 13.5" has a repair at the rear neck area which is not so apparent...

A very uncommon graduated sterling silver handled jigger by one of Mexico’s most important Art Deco and modernist silversmiths, Juvento Lopez Reyes. He opened his studio, Plateria del Recreo in 1935, making most streamlined hollowware items in the Art Deco and modernist taste. The base is fully stamped with mark used by Reyes in the 1930s and 40s. The stepped sides of the jigger mark off .5, 1, 1.5 and 2-oz levels.

Origin: Mexico, ca. 1940...

A Reed & Barton Paul Revere Style Sterling Silver Footed Bowl. Dimensions are 6.5" across x 3.5" high; weight is 9.1 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. Circa 1940's.

Rare hand blown Bohemian style Murano Glass cobalt blue tea set with applied white enameled flowers in high relief, monogrammed saucers and footed cups. Custom made and purchased on Murano Island, Venice, Italy in the 1900's. Total of 22 pieces, 2 of which are lids, the set offers teapot with lid (8.25" high), sugar with lid (4.5" high), creamer (5.25" high), 5 large footed cups (3.75" high), 6 small footed cups (3" high), 6 saucers (5.5" diameter).

A Sterling Silver Creamer and Sugar, with a gold washed interior, in the Paul Revere Style by Reed & Barton; date mark, 1942. The Creamer is 3" x 2" and the Sugar is 2" x 3.25", with a combined weight of 6 Troy ounces. Very fine condition.

20th century glass Venetian Figurine in excellent condition, although unmarked, is probably made by Seguso or Barovier. I am advised by an expert in the field that the leaf supporting the figure at the base suggests Seguso. The polychrome canne jacket and the abundant gold leaf applications illustrate the mastery of the Muranese glassblowers. The figurine is 10.5" tall, in great condition, obviously kept in a cabinet over the years, and bears an import label.

Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. Measurements: 5 1/2"L x 2" H; Jigger measures 1 3/4" H. Handle width-1"; Condition is very good vintage with minor pin dots inside jigger. Repair to knob that attaches handle to back of jigger.

A very fine and extremely rare Art Deco sterling silver cocktail shaker by exclusive Tuttle Silvermsiths. At the end of the Art Deco era, just before modernism began to take a firm hold, a few leading American silver companies started reinterpreting Stuart adn Georgian silver designs for modern purposes. This shaker is just such an example...

A International Silver Co. "Royal Danish" Sterling Silver Punch Ladle with a Double Spout. Pattern introduced in 1939. It is 17" long and weighs 8.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

These sparkly lunch or dessert plates measure 8 1/4" across. They feature Cape Cod's pattern of fire-polished optic glass diamonds and thumbprints with a large ray star in the center. Each is in excellent condition and would make a fine housewarming gift. Production dates: 1932-1984. I have other Cape Cod and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. June night etched pattern by tiffin is circa 1941. The are 6 5/8 tall and hold 10 oz. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to these items. I have six (6) for sale.

Duncan & Miller Tear Drop 12 oz. Tumbler, made This pattern was produced starting in the 1930's and continuing until the demise of the company in 1955. Two tumblers are available, both in excellent condition.

A sterling silver double jigger in International's classic1939 Art Deco "Royal Danish" pattern. The jigger is marked with one of International's older hallmarks. The double jiggers in this pattern are difficult to find.

Origin: America, ca. 1945. Condition: very good, one pinpoint to the side and a few pinpoints on the rim visible upon close inspection, no monogram. Weight: 65.5 grams. Size: 4-9/32" tall.

A Sterling Silver Four Footed Georgian Style Sugar and Creamer Made by Mueck-Cary Co., now Towle, dating from the 1940's. The creamer is 4" high x 4 1/4" wide and weighs 4 Troy ounces; the sugar is 3 1/4" high x 5" wide and weighs 4 Troy ounces.

This bright Westmoreland carnival basket shows rich purple and cranberry-red pansies with a petal from each to form the foot. The handles are clear and arc over the flowers to just touch, and the bottom is crystal clear. It measures 4 3/4" across and 4 1/2" high to the top of the handles. This wonderful display piece is in excellent condition. Insurance and confirmation is included in the price.

A beautiful and very detailed woodblock print by Japanese artist Ohara Koson (1877-1945) of two herons standing in water with leaves and branches in the background, slightly obscuring the view of a bright crescent moon amongst a beautiful night sky, fading from darker tone blues into icy tones. The herons' feathers are actually embossed into the woodblock and have many other detailed features, such as the scales and claws of their feet and the gleam in their eyes...
