This is a lacquered wooden Ko Tansu, small box from Late Meiji period (1890's-1910's). It was constructed of Paulownia ( Kiri ) wood, Hourse chestnut ( Tochinoki ) and Zelkova ( Keyaki ) which shows beautiful wooden grains. It measures 8.5" high by 13.25" wide by10.25" deep.
This is a 2 section stacking Kimono chest called Isho Tansu. It measures 64.88" high by 42" wide by 18" deep.
It was constructed entirely of Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki) and there are 5 large trays and 2 small trays for Obi/ Kimono and drawers in the top section. There is Mulberrry wood (Kuwanoki) trim and fitting.
This is a 2 section stacking Japanese chest called Kamo Kimono Tansu that measures 68.13" high by 47.68" wide by 17.75" deep. . It was entirely constructed in thick Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki). Because this is high-end tansu, removing the bottom drawer in the lower section, there is a secret compartment, also removing the middle drawer on top section, you can lock 2 drawers on the both sides. Its age is from late 1900's.
