This is an antique Japanese 2 section Merchant display tansu from Late Meiji (1900's-1910's). It measures that 65.75" tall, 71.5" wide, 16.75" deep. This tansu is originally used at the store and it made of Sugi (cedar) and Hinoki (cypress) wood. Top section has sliding doors and 2 large shelves which are ideal to display various items. Lower section has 4 drawers which can store and organize many pieces.
