This is a beautifully patinaed Pair of Nightstands made around the middle part of the 20th century during the Art Deco period boasting a lovely burl mahogany finish. Each Chevet is providing a single drawer mounted with its original brass knob upon an open niche with single shelf. Minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1940. Decorative pair of empire-style armchairs, 20th Cent.
A proud, solid mid-size pair of French leather club chairs from the 1950's. Firmer seat with Bultex fixed cushions. (Bultex is a rubberized foam prevalent in the 50's.) This pair is covered in all-original leather, a high grain sheephide with deep grooved texture. Lots of character on this gorgeous pair. This is a nice and decorative lamp, directly inspired of the Gothic style, made during the first half of the 20th century, consisting of an intricately turned fluted shaft accented with Moorish arches standing on an octagonal base. The previous owner has wired this item to the US Standard. Note a few chips here and there due to the age. Lampshade not included. Circa date 1930. Dimensions 26"high/ 6"diameter (base).
This fabulous sideboard, attributed to the French designer, Jean Pascaud (1902-1996) features a black lacquered finish and tambour doors with parchment veneers. Finish is not original and is in very good condition. There is one noticeable scratch on the top, a few minor, shallow scratches, and some craquelure noticeable at the corners and sides of the top surface. Measures 53.3" wide, 35.7" high and 16.7" deep. It was purchased from Newel LLC, New York, NY, for $28,500.
