This is a lovely and very decorative pair of painted sconces made from lime tree by the first quarter of the 20th century and consisting of a serpentine shaped frame surrounding the original mirror and highlighted by pierced carved acanthus patterns mounted by an intricately carved shell-shaped bobeche. Note that this pair has to be rewired to the US Standard. Circa date 1930. Dimensions 19”high/ 11 ½”wide/ 3”deep.

Pair of Large Empire-Style Wood & Hand-Painted Sconces Circa. 1930 Italy Pair of three light, non-electrified carved wood sconces with urn form backs and tole swags. The craftsmanship is spectacular. There are minor scratches, but the overall condition is excellent. Each sconce measures 31 inches high, 10 3/4 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches deep. Total weight of both is 7.2 pounds. Fabulous! Can be electrified, if so desired. Now, use with candles.

This pair of sconces feature polished and lacquered brass frames and green tinted glass, similar to the 1930s and 1940s designs of Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte of Italy. They are unmarked and the manufacturer and designer are unknown. Dimensions: 28" H X 14.5" W X 6.5" D (71.1 X 36.8 X 16.5 cm).

A very pretty greenish chandelier made by the first quarter of the 20th century consisting of a nicely scrolled frame highlighted with acanthus pattern and featuring a total of 4 lights that must be rewired to the US Standard. Circa date 1920. Dimensions 32 ½”high/ 23 ½”diameter.
