Wonderful hands free magnifying glass with brass attached to a wooden stand. The glass is adjustable and adjusts up and down and left to right. It is mounted to a heavy carved wooden base. The base measures 5" by 3.5" and the glass measures 3" across. I believe it is 3X magnification. I could find nothing wrong with it!

Much of the original white and pale green paint remains. The doorstop measures 10-3/8 inches in height, about 6 inches in width, and about 2 inches in depth.

Perhaps one of a kind vintage Hermes Paris ( "Clio") stainless steel and rosewood axe. Perfect for yacht rope-cutting inauguration launch, leaving the axe as a unique premier gift to the honoree. Sharp edge with almost imperceptible nibble, accented sides, exquisite workmanship. Formerly part of a world famous New York collection. 13.25" height (base to blade top), blade 5.25" length, handle .65" wide at base.
Quirky bamboo rice cutter from Southern Laos, most likely this is from one of the ethnic minorities up in the hills. 50 years old is a ballpark guess on the age, an unusual item and the only one I have seen. Nice patina- the blade is rusted but no damage and the handle has some bug holes and is fairly delicate. H: 43cm/17in and W: 31cm/12.7in.
Rare net repairing tool from the Vietnamese Nùng ethnic minority, who are closely related to the Zhuang people in Southwest China. This is carved from buffalo horn and still has a length of handspun plant fiber cord. This difficult to date as I can find no references on this particular item, suffice to say it predates the use of cheaper and easier to obtain plastic versions, so a conservative dating of about 40 years will do. Perfect condition and L: 19cm/7.5in.

Elegant wood sculpture from Sri Lanka, early 20 Century. This wood is very hard and heavy. Made to tied up two buffalo’s in to a wooden plow to harvest rice…. The ropes dig deep marques in to the wood making this piece a natural sculpture. Good wood patina and good condition.
