Pair of Chinese armchairs made all of beautiful honey colored hardwood, most likely huanghuali, each seat with six sides, very elegant lines with dowels for back and arms, mid 20th century. Size of each: 32 1/2" high x 27" wide x 20 1/2" deep.

A marvelous three panel table screen done in a combination of Chinese hardwood and porcelain blanc de chine style panels. The central panel is an image of chrysanthemums in full bloom, the left panel is depicting bamboo and the right panel is a branch with dogwood-like flowers with a vine attached to its branches. Huanghuali altar table decorated with carved decorations. The altar table has a square maize design repeated around the base of the table. The legs are decorated with carved panels of dragons climbing through clouds. The Huanghuali table top is very beautiful with strong grain patterns. Late Republic period.
