Chinese jade vase carved with blossoming flower branches and birds. Carved of a single jade pebble. The vase portion is a whitish green color and the flowers and birds are carved of the orange outer rind of the jade stone. Highly carved and three dimensional.

This Chinese jadeite carving was made in 1970 by a jade carving student. He depicts the Chinese immortals Fu, Lu, Shou standing under what appears to be a peach branch, another good fortune symbol. The jade is polished having apple or mint green complexion.

Impressive hand carved and polished Lapis Lazuli carving of Shou Lao, the Chinese deity of longevity, standing with others, including a deer, on a log boat. Presented on a silver wire inlaid rosewood stand, this is a superb piece and comes in its own presentation box. It measures: Long 10" x High 7.25" x Depth 2.5" plus stand. Dates mid 20th C, late Republic/early People's Republic of China.

1930's Republic Era Chinese pale celadon hand polished jade plaque depicting a bird amongst scrolling tendrils. Excellent condition, it measures 2 inches high x 1 3/8".

Republic period mottled pale green jade Chinese small sword or dagger nicely carved with a great surface sheen and patina. A chilong is carved on each side of the guard between the handle and blade. Small pink rock crystal teapot. It is carved with 5 dragons cut with a grinding wheel in high relief. One of them serves as a handle, another as a pouring spout and a third as a gripping fretel. The last two are flanked on either side of the teapot. The 5 dragons have a strong cultural significance in Chinese art. Wooden base, finely crafted with stylized dragons. It is 1.8 inches (4.63 cm) wide by 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) internal diameter. The ruby is 12.49mm wide. The jadeite is 11.62mm wide. It weighs 59.3 gram.
