Lovely low glaze ceramic garden stand. Ornamented with cut out lotus flower, water, tree and bat designs throughout. This rare jar has a wide mouth over a short neck with the ovoid body tapering to a short foot. Song dynasty, Henan wares.

These types of jars are made by using clays of two different colours. The top and bottom are then made separate and joined together horizontally.

Condition: On this jar, in a section, the top and bottom has separated along the horizontal luting line. A picture has been provided showing this separation...

Rare stoneware teadust melping vase. The broad mouth over narrow shoulders with the sides tapering to a slightly flared foot.

Glazed on the exterior, the base ring left bare as well as the interior below the neck. The base is glazed in the same teadust colour, the green toned glaze pooling around the edges.

Condition: In very good condition, no breaks or cracks

Size is approximately 16 cm high by 9-1/2 cm diameter.

A pair of tilework sancai tomb figures of a man and a woman. Each decorated in black and amber glazes. The male figure with a tall conical hat and long robes edged with amber; his hands held before him under the robes with a napkin draped over them. The female figure in similar robes with greater use of amber holding a dish up with her hands under the robes...

The surface of the screen looking like a mountain peak with glacier beyond. The stone with dark grey tones with white. The edge with seals and Chinese characters.
