Porcelain polychrome statue of the noted sage, Liu Hai. Liu Hai was the noted 10th century alchemist who learned the secret of immortality from the three legged frog, Jin chan (Chan chu). The frog is known for beckoning wealth. Later, in China and Japan, the combination of Liu Hai and the frog became the symbol of fortune and wealth. Chinese antique Wood handing chop stick holder with a Bat, nice folk art piece this is one I had kept for myself and used it to hold bills . Refinished as is usual with exported Chinese wood pieces. approx size 10.5" 5" wide 3" deep

Cinnabar is getting very hard to find, this lovely specimen even has a reticulated translucent very pale celadon carved stone, done in a floral pattern. In excellent condition despite a few dings, the cinnabar is completely intact. It measures 6" X 3.5" x 1.75 inches high. Dated to about Circa 1920, this vintage Chinese treasure is sure to increase in value over time. Note: Any white spec in the photos are reflections from the camera.

Chinese antique six lobed deep stoneware bowl. Covered all over in a buff colour celadon glaze. Straight circular foot ring.

Size: Approximately 6-7/8" diameter by 2-3/4" high

Condition: Overall in very good condition. There is one chip on the foot ring. The base of the bowl holds the remnants of three kiln firing stints.

A delicate antique Chinese Tea Box with exquisitely decorated gilt relief. It has a pewter box lining with a glass knob. The lacquer shows images of a pavillion setting with trees and a border of flowers. The pewter box has a primitive etching of scholars with rocks and grasses. The interior top is lacquer with two gold fronds.
