Interesting set of two Indian or Nepalese silver figurines of musicians, c. early 20th. century.
The figures are made of fairly high grade silver, at least .800 or more. They are well-made with lots of added bangles and both playing instruments.

A BRONZE VIRABHADRA PLAQUE WESTERN DECCAN INDIA CIRCA probably 19th c CENTURY of rectangular form depicting the four-armed deity in relief standing within a lobed arch under a cobra flanked by diminutive figures of Daksha and Sati and a hanging loop on the back. Size H 7" w almost 4.25"

Beautiful bronze offering chalice from India with one large peacock surrounded by four smaller peacocks, bowing their heads in worship to the central bird. The chalice has a hinge on its front and back, which could secured shut with a pin or rope. The bronze has some red patina on the feathers of each bird and has bronze patina. A beautiful Wangden carpet from Tibet, made with Yak hair warp with thick wool pile and fringe borders.
Central floral pattern surrounded by a large tridimensional meander pattern.
These kind of carpets were traditionally used in the monasteries to keep warm while sitting during long pujia ceremony in the cold winter. But were also used by wealthy families.

A very typical figure from the remote Karnali area showing a so called "Protector" coated with white mineral pigment (Seto mato) mostly on the front side.
