Japanese 20th century bronze vase with gold and silver inlays. The inlays are in a geometric design. Made by KASAI TAIZO, born 1922. From Takaoka City. Signed TAIZO on bottom. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. 14 1/4" tall by 5" wide at its widest.

A spiraling form in softly gleaming golden brown by Yajima Boshu enclosed in the original singed wooden box titled simply Jundo Kabin (Pure Bronze Vase). It is 8.5 cm (3-1/4 inches) diameter, 27.5 cm (11 inches) tall and in excellent condition signed on the base with a silver cartouche.
Yajima Boshu (1925-2001) was born in Takaoka, one of the most important bronze producing regions in Japan...

An antique Japanese bronze Koi (carp) fountain. Depicting a carp breaching the water surface as it attempts to swim up a waterfall. The casting symbolizes true perseverance and tenacity in achieving ones personal goals. Fine details show on the fins, the scales, the barbels and sun-like designs just above the gills.
