Japanese bronze okimono sculpture of a Hawk on rockery base. the Hawk stands on a a fantastic bronze rockery base with branches and waves. Signed with character marks on the side of the rockery. Measures 16 1/2" x 19 1/2" x 8". condition was cold painted at a later date though 99% of the paint has been removed.The left foot left toe is missing though a rough toe was created but we removed it during the cleaning it will come with the sculpture.

Rare Meiji metal Okimono of a Monkey Samurai or Sage unsigned , great sculpt nice detail in the fur . There are a few splits to the base and this figure has been clear coated long ago but its bubbling off and could be totally removed with little effort. We are not cleaning him and leaving that to the new owner. Size 13.5" by 7"
