Chinese Yixing SI TING SHAPE Teapot c1980'

This Chinese yixing teapot was handcrafted in 80' but has a nice old shape with a patina purple clay color. It's in excellent condition with the imprint of the artist signature "Ding Shan Ren".

This is a fairly large set of “hayashi” doll, court music entertainers, all dressed in samurai’s attire with a sword. Three seated dolls in the front row are approx. 5 1/2” (14 1/2 cm) tall x 9 1/2” (23-23.5 cm) wide, excluding hat and stand. The taiko drummer is 11 1/4” (29cm) wide, a little bigger. Two in back row, seated on stools, are 7 1/2” (19cm) tall x 9 3/4” (25cm) wide. The stands are lacquered wood.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot. Length approximately 21.5 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height 12.5 cm. The teapot has few chips at the tipspout and the rim. Few tiny chips inside the cover rim. Good condition.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Qing Dynasty. Length approximately 19.8 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height approximately 11.2 cm. There is a hairline 0.2 cm at the tipspout. The Teapot has Arabic Calligraphy Mark at The Base. Good condition.

A Group of 8(eight) Yixing Tea Cups. 2(two) teacups have 4.1 cm diameter and 2.6 cm height, 2(two) teacups have 4.6 cm diameter and 2.9 cm height and the other tea cups have 5 cm diameter and 2.9 cm height. The 2(two) tea cups which 5 cm diameter and 2.9 cm height have a hairline inside the cup (not appeared from outside).

This is a superb & beautifully handcrafted Chinese yixing teapot. The teapot has a nice & beautiful reddish clay patina with multiple inscriptions on one side & a nice carved wild bird & landscape on the other side...

Length approximately 10.9 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height 6 cm. The teapot has few chips at the handle and the cover. Good condition.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Qing Dynasty. Length approximately 19.4 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height 15 cm. Few tiny chips at the rim of the teapot and oval-shaped grip on the cover is glued. Good condition.

Length approximately 16 cm (tipspout to handle). Height approximately 9 cm. A chip at the cover. A chip at the spout. In good condition.

A Chinese Yixing Jar, Qing Dynasty/Republic. Height approximately 9 cm, width 13.5 cm (across handles). The jar has tiny chips inside the cover. Good condition.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Qing Dynasty. Length approximately 19.8 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height approximately 15 cm. Few tiny chips inside the cover rim and soft tiny chips at the tipspout. Good condition.

Wonderful patina covers this vintage backpack from the Philippines. A bamboo frame supports the basket woven of plant vines which was made and used by one of the indigenous tribal island groups. The woven straps can be adjusted into position and it is actually a light weight and comfortable. Excellent condition...large 22 inches high, 16 inches across and 10 inches deep.

This ornate pectorial is from the Highlands region of Papua New Guinea and would have been worn by a man during ceremonial occasions. It is made from plant fiber, which was pigment dyed and studded with nassa shells. The piece is accented on either side by a large white cowrie shell.

This wonderful ethnographic artifact was obtained from the estate of an anthropology professor in St. Louis. Having been stored away for many years, the color of the pigment dyes are still relatively strong.

4.5" Has the word “Navajo” stamped in the bowl, and a rocker engraved face stamped in the bowl, similar to that on the handle. It has two arrows on the handle. c. 1895-1910.

Early 20th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquered Wood Carved Pierced Temple Altar Box with Stand

It is 15.2 inches (38.5 cm) tall by 10.75 inches (27.3 cm) wide. It is 6.6 Lb.

It has been repaired where one corner has a small piece glued back. It also has small gaps, chips, cracks, surface wears and scratches, peeling of lacquer, and the bottom is glued to the stand (as seen in the photos).
