A finely painted Chinese porcelain brush pot, the decoration depicting the ‘Eight Barbarians paying Tribute’(Ba Mang Jin Bao). The base bares an apocryphal overglaze red six character Qianlong mark. The pot dates to the late Republic Period(1912-1949) or early PRC. The piece is 6.7” high(17cm) and 4.75” square(17.2cm).
