This is a wonderful Shelley China of England 10.75 inch in diameter dinner, rack or cabinet plate in the Heather pattern #13007 in the Gainsborough or Henley shape 1940-1966. The outer rim is a lovely cobalt blue with an overlay of gold fillagree and a gold rim. The design is a lovely Scottish landscape with a river, bridge, trees and heather. Lovely. This is a vintage ironstone blue transferware or transfer ware plate that is 9.75 inches in diameter. This great plate was manufactured by the Olde English Staffordshire Ware Company, a division of Ridgways , England for John H. Roth and Co. USA between 1933-1956. This plate was made to commemorate Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's plantation in Virginia. It is a lovely pattern, very intricate especially the flower and fruit border. A decorative pair of English completely hand painted floral plates by James Kent of England (pattern number 1130). Similar to their Annette pattern, these 8-7/8" plates have a blue/green ground with handpainted flowers with an embossed edge.
