No marks I can identify (an incised "D"?) on this attractive coffee cup, saucer and plate, but the manner of decoration, asters and ferns, suggests English origin. All 3 pieces are in mint condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, stains or crazing. The cup (2-3/4 inches high by 2-1/2 inches wide) has a shaped handle suggesting bent wood; the saucer is 5-1/2 inches in diameter and the plate is 8 inches in diameter.

This is a lovely Shelley China, England bone china tea cup and saucer in a pattern that is pale green on the saucer and exterior of the cup and parts of the Wild Flowers pattern on the inside of the cup. This unusual combo or combination bone china cup and saucer pattern is on the Stratford shape with gold trim and was made 1940-1966.
