This beautiful 6-3/8" t. melon-shaped vase is a great example of Art Nouveau French stoneware, signed with both impressed and hand-painted marks, including the maker, Desvres. Wonderful early vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1935, in excellent condition. This unusual vase is 8 1/2" high and is very reminiscent of Charles Greber's Art Nouveau pieces. It is signed with the "Greber" incised signature in script Pierre borrowed from his uncle.
