Delightful little fella, handpainted in France,in vivid colors, a porcelain parrot perfume, with much detail in the feathering; touches of matte finish gilding as well as bordering the base. The parrot's bronze collar is the point at which the bottle opens. Signed on the base, "Peint main, Made in France," and what appears to be the initials. 5.5" (13.97 cm) tall, 1.25" x 1.50" (3.17 x 3.81 cm) base. This beautiful cider Pitcher attributed to Limoges, France does not have a company mark but it does bear the artist initials on the bottom. Vividly hand painted apples, blossoms, and foliage make this an exquisite piece. It measures 5" tall and is approximately 7.5" wide. This pitcher dates to about 1903 and is in excellent condition. Exceptional value and design for this 100+ year old pottery.
