No factory markings on reverse. Small chip on the reverse that you cannot see from the front.

Shown here are 9 French Luneville artichoke plates that I have for sale. They date to around 1900. The colors are glorious green, aqua and aubergine on white in the wonderful, glassy majolica glaze. The plates are decorated with artichokes and asparagus and have an artichoke well. There are 9 identical plates. They each measure approximately 9" in diameter and are in very fine condition.

Very nice Quimper creamer dating to 1895 to 1922. This has the hand painted Frenchman on the side with floral's on the other. Very old and not in too bad condition with only one small nick to the side of the top rim. No hairlines or cracks. The handle has one firing flaw, an air bubble that burst and not finished properly, which is the norm on these earlier pieces which to me only adds character. This faiance collection of Luneville K & G Old Strassburg, consists of tulip and 1 rose pattern. All are handpainted, with stilt marked saucers, 3 are hand stamped and marked KG Luneville, however one saucer seems printed on the back. Each is in perfect condition, one cup has a tiny raised mark in the glaze. So delightful to add to your collection!

Nice size French pitcher, probably used for wine and water (separately, of course). I estimate the age is somewhere pre 1960. It appears to be in excellent condition with no cracks or chips; only firing faults, some of which are visible in the photo (but not as prominent as they appear in the photo). It is decorated with impressed marks creating horizontal bands in different sections around the pitcher. The bottom has impressed marks consisting of the number 4, and in a circle, GRES du BERRY...
