French Majolica Plates w/Pink Rose Motif

Striking French majolica plates! They have a bright pink triangular rose design with green leaves and are shown on page 36 of Pierre Faveton's book "Les Barbotines". The plates are 8 1/4 inches in diameter, and they are all in very nice condition. There is some crazing and maybe a very tiny flea bite on the edge of one of the plates. We have 3 available Circa late 19th century.

This lovely asparagus plate is a stunning color -- deep turquoise. It is 8 3/4 inches in diameter and in perfect condition. It was made in Luneville, France by the famous manufacturer Keller & Guerin, circa 1920s.
