A Rosenthal (Selb Bavaria) Inkstand; White with Gilt and Burnt Orange Florals. Dimensions 12" wide x 7" deep x 2.25" high. Marked December 2, 1931, possibly as a gift date, with the inkstand slightly earlier. Monogrammed. Very modest wear under the bottom of base; Excellent condition overall.

Rosenthal figurine designed by Lore Friedrich-Gronau. Gronau was known for his dancing figures. This dancer is from the 1952, and it is called 'Downbeat' from the series 'Music and Musicians'. Signed on the bottom: L. Friedrich-Gronau. Rosenthal Germany Kunstabteilung Selb, and numbered 1898. Mint condition. Height:: 5 1/2 inches.

This is a wonderful Goldscheider Art Deco porcelain figurine of a woman with a hound, circa 1930's. The woman is wearing a stunning maroon dress with matching hat and shoes, and is posed with her left hand on her hip and right hand on her hat. The figurine was made in Austria and is signed by the artist, Claire Huexeg. It measures 17" tall, 11" wide, and 8" deep.

This is a porcelain Sitzendorf figurine portraying a "beggar" angel. He has a pink coat and crutches, and is holding a hat. Bears the Bros. Voigt and Alfred Voigt, Sitzendorf mark, dating the piece 1887-1900. It measures 8 1/2" tall by 3 3/4" in diameter.

This is a 1/2 liter Mettlach stein with ceramic inset Caduceus emblem, circa 1910-1930. The emblem is set in the top of the pewter lid. Books surround the body of the stein. The handle and trim are a cobalt blue. The bust of Hermes is on the thumb plate. Caduceus is the name given to the staff, it was used by the messengers of the gods, especially Hermes.
