Meissen 4 Pc. Covered Sauce, Underplate, Spoon c. 1930

This is an exceptional, four piece sauce dish, lid, underplate, and matching marked Meissen spoon. The dimensions are (the underplate) 10 3/4" x 8", while the entire set is 6 3/4" high to the top of the strawberry finial. The pieces are in excellent condition, with the exception of a chip on the inside of the lid, only visible when taken off. Germany, first third of the Twentieth Century.

This studio pottery vase by Gerhard Liebenthron is different for it's contrasting solid and patterned surfaces. This is an elegant squirrel on a tree stump crafted in the inimitable Meissen manner. It dates circa 1960.. The impressed model number is P231. The piece is first quality with no scratches on the mark.

It is 4 1/2" tall. The conditions is excellent - no chips, cracks or restoration.

This German vase by Paul Dresler is from the Grootenburg Pottery he started in 1913. The sgrafito technique and copper reduction glaze are commonly found on Grootenburg pottery. The palette is often in various shades of dark greens and reds/maroons. This vase is close to 11 inches tall and in excellent condition. It has an elegant and graceful design reflecting the more modern shapes that were introduced in the 1950s. The Grootenburg pottery closed in 1961.

This is a lovely model of a sparrow in brown on a base base made at Meissen c 1924. It is signed MB in the paste; this is Max Bochmann, a highly regarded artist who retired in 1929. The piece stands 4 1/2" tall. It is first quality and in excellent condition.
