This is a unique shape modern design porcelain teapot made by Heinrich, Bavaria West Germany in the 1970s. The design is an angled square shape with a figural blossom lid finial and a design of pears and blossoms. The teapot measures 5.5 inches high by 10 inches long by 6 wide and is a 6-8 cup teapot and in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1952. Professor T. Karner was the artist who modeled this piece. The height is 5 1/4 inches and it is 4 inches wide. This kitty is in typical mischief pose, ready to attack anything that crosses his path. He is mostly white with tabby striped patches. Painters at the Rosenthal factory used the most realistic coloring on their figurines. Best of all, Karner created his subjects with liveliness. They have character and motion.... Click for details

A pottery vase by Richard Uhlemeyer, a German studio potter whose work had a significant influence on the mid-century artistic explosion of the 1950's-70's. In 1938, three years after opening his own workshop, he received his master’s designation in pottery. He experimented with the development of differentiated and complicated glazes. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1936. It is first quality porcelain. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. Beautiful white ironstone soup tureen in the Marie Luise pattern by Seltmann Weiden, Bavaria. The soup tureen measures 8.5" high and 12" across from handle to handle. The lid has a decorative finial and an scalloped border. It is marked Marie Luise Bayr. Ostmark Seltmann Weiden. There are no chips, cracks, or stains. This is an exceptional, four piece sauce dish, lid, underplate, and matching marked Meissen spoon. The dimensions are (the underplate) 10 3/4" x 8", while the entire set is 6 3/4" high to the top of the strawberry finial. The pieces are in excellent condition, with the exception of a chip on the inside of the lid, only visible when taken off. Germany, first third of the Twentieth Century.
