This listing includes a pair of vintage Hutschenreuther Gelb porcelain figurines designed by Carl Werner (1895-1980) that are in near mint condition. No chips, cracks or restorations. Fresh from estate sale, they're just a bit dirty and could use a gentle cleaning with a damp cloth. One measures approximately 11 3/8" high by 4 3/4" at its widest point. Weighs 13.7 oz. This porcelain figurine was produced in Hungary by Herend before 1950. He stands 6 inches high. It is well modeled with good detail and beautifully hand painted in vivid colors. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1952. Professor T. Karner was the artist who modeled this piece. The height is 5 1/4 inches and it is 4 inches wide. This kitty is in typical mischief pose, ready to attack anything that crosses his path. He is mostly white with tabby striped patches. This is an exceptional, four piece sauce dish, lid, underplate, and matching marked Meissen spoon. The dimensions are (the underplate) 10 3/4" x 8", while the entire set is 6 3/4" high to the top of the strawberry finial. The pieces are in excellent condition, with the exception of a chip on the inside of the lid, only visible when taken off. Germany, first third of the Twentieth Century.
