West German ceramic vase with a rough textured finish and enameled center. The vase is 14" tall and tapered. The top and bottom sections have a rough textured greenish finish. The center is composed of three bands of abstractly painted circles that alternate in height within the band. In excellent condition and in a muted palette, this is a nice example of mid century production pottery.

German, signed studio pottery vase in a bottle shape with a partial crystalline, partial mottled glaze. Created in the style of Horst Kerstan. This signed piece is by W Burmeister.

It is 9 7/8 inches tall and in excellent condition. It has a palette of predominately plum, brown and ocher.

Unsigned, it is signed Handarbeit (handmade) which makes you wonder why the maker did not sign it too! Pale green semi gloss glazes adorn this lovely piece. Tall studio pottery vase by Horst Kerstan, c.1970s. A very heavy piece, it stands just over 14 inches tall. Clearly showing the Japanese influence of his time spent there, it has a semi matte taupe background with spots of gold and is embellished by strokes of cucumber green. A beautiful piece in excellent condition.

This Ceramano mid century modern vase is part of the artistic and experimental line started in 1959 by the founder of Jasba. The vase, in the "Apulia" design was done in 1959 by Hans Welling, the artistic director at Ceramano from 1959-1961.

Wonderful decoration and color palette. It is in excellent condition and is 14 1/8 inches tall.

This German studio pottery vase has an unusual shape and wonderful crystalline glaze. It is signed on the base with what appears to be TK and a number but I haven't been able to identify the maker's mark. It is 7 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches at it's widest point. Excellent condition.

A pottery vase by Richard Uhlemeyer, a German studio potter whose work had a significant influence on the mid-century artistic explosion of the 1950's-70's. In 1938, three years after opening his own workshop, he received his master’s designation in pottery. He experimented with the development of differentiated and complicated glazes.
