Very nice M.I. Hummel figurine was sculpted by Arthur Moeller in 1935. The mark on this figurine dates it to a couple of years in the 1960's. It is a closed edition and in excellent condition. It features a young boy playing a violin. It is also known as “The Wandering Fiddler” and “Violinist” in some of the old Hummel catalogs. This piece has the impressed #4, original paper label, and the TMK#4 mark on the base. ML Hummel is also impressed on the backside of base. No chips, nicks or hairlines.... Click for details

This miniature studio pottery vase is by Maria Philippi, born in 1927. She studied with Hubert Griemert and Monika Maetzel and also worked for Annemarie and Werner Schmidt-Tummeley. Between 1962-1964 she worked for Soholm in Denmark. The Scandinavian influence can be seen in both the shape of this piece and the soft matte glaze with it's subtly varying hues. This is 4 1/2" tall, in excellent condition and signed.

This German studio pottery vase is by Rudiger Endrejat, c. 1970s. His work appears in the collection of the Keramik Museum in Berlin. It's 11" tall (inclusive of the "chimney top")and 11" in circumference. The abstract decoration is in hues of blues and tans that subtly merge into one another. Note, that in the third photo what appears to be a glaze pop is actually more like a tiny black pimple.

Carstens Tönnieshof (1945-1984), German pottery vase in a glazed lava style mustard yellow top half and unglazed black bottom half of vase, brown on the inside of the vase. Standing at 8" (20 cm), 6" (15.25 cm) wide, with a 3.5" (9 cm) opening. Marking on the underside (photo attached) as a double house symbol, TC overlapping, 5002-20, West Germany. Gorgeous piece with no damage or repairs. High quality pottery! Circa 1960's. Beautiful! (white spots on vase are from camera glare).
