A beautiful art deco ceramic basket marked # 301 schramberg germany.This basket was likely designed by eva zeisel.It is very similar to the gobelin pattern that was designed by her.The basket dates to the late 1920's and early 1930's.The basket measures 5 1/8" tall and is 7 3/8" wide.There are a few very small and minor rim nicks which is very common with this type of ceramics.The over all condition is really good.A nice vintage basket to add to your art deco collection.

The ceramic base of this decorative piece is in almost perfect condition with only a very few tiny scratches. It is marked with numbers and there is an impressed marking of letters as well. These are almost impossible to decipher. The metal rim is 2 1/4 inches high and has minimal corrosion. This tray, which could be used for serving drinks or as a bread basket, is 9 3/4 inches long and 7 3/4 inches wide. This is a 1/2 liter Mettlach stein with ceramic inset Caduceus emblem, circa 1910-1930. The emblem is set in the top of the pewter lid. Books surround the body of the stein. The handle and trim are a cobalt blue. The bust of Hermes is on the thumb plate. Caduceus is the name given to the staff, it was used by the messengers of the gods, especially Hermes. What a knock-out!!! This wonderful majolica dessert set was made by Villeroy & Boch in Schramberg, Germany. It is pure Art Nouveau, decorated with late-blooming larger snowdrops and forget-me-nots. These plates as well as the serving plate are incised around the edges. The large oval cake plate is marked as is one of the dessert plates - there are six in all. Delightful blue and white Villeroy & Boch doll size soup plates. The diameter of each plate is 3 inches. They are decorated with a blue flower motif. All six plates are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. One may have a flea bite. Each is marked Villeroy & Boch, Dresden, Made in Germany. This mark was used from 1935 until 1945.

This creamy-colored majolica cakestand or cake plate is only 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. The largest flower is edelweiss and the others are alpine blooms as well. The creamy white surface, which is covered with tiny floral indentations, shows no crazing. There is one small original flaw on the surface and some flea bites on the rim.
