This beautiful Berndt Friberg bowl for Gustavsberg measures 2 3/8" (7cm) high and is 6 3/8" (16cm) in diameter. The haresfur glaze is in a complex of browns. On the underside of the perfect foot is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the letter G. This bowl was created in 1965. Excellent condition.

Charming 1950s vase by Mari Simmulson for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden. The vase is in excellent condition. It is signed with the monogram signature of Mari Simmulson "ms" and marked "UE" for Upsala-Ekeby. It bears the no. 4148. Mari Simmulson was educated as a ceramist in the 1930s in Tallinn, Estonia and in Munich, Germany. She worked for Upsala-Ekeby in Sweden from 1949-1972.
